No. GCC's own off-campus housing resources page states that the college does not provide student housing, and instead directs students to outside apartment listings and roommate resources.
When should I start looking for an apartment near GCC?
Aim to have a lease finalized at least a few weeks before the September 3 fall start date or the January 25 spring start date, since apartment turnover peaks right around both dates and the best units go quickly.
Do I need a car to attend GCC if I live off campus?
Not necessarily. The campus sits near Interstate 91 and Route 2, and some Greenfield neighborhoods, particularly downtown, are served by the local bus line, though a car makes the commute from farther neighborhoods easier.
What should I do with my belongings between the fall and spring semesters?
Short-term storage is usually simpler than moving everything home and back for winter break, especially if you plan to keep the same apartment for spring semester and just need somewhere to keep a few items in the meantime.
